Woven Patch
The ability to offer tried and true technique standards along with modern shiny bling is what we call Luxurious Rebellion and what we hope to bring to our client's tool box , letting our designers help them use these mediums to stimulate imagination and create patches that will turn heads, beg to be touched, and create conversation.
We currently offer three specialty techniques and we are sure that one if not a combination of these techniques will have heads turning and your brand being the word on the street, as well as in the board room.
Woven Patches
Woven patches are related to the "care label" & "brand tag labels" found in garments to help identify the brand long after a sale or to give information such as caring for your garment. They are created using weaving technology and are produced on a loom, not a sewing or embroidery machine. This weaving process allows for very crisp details and small lettering that cannot be done in embroidery. The same "embroidery feel" is there as polyester thread is used, just a much cleaner representation of the art. The patch is then given a backing such as iron on, an embroidered border is applied and a woven patch is born and ready to create conversation.
Perhaps you have had problems getting your logo to look crisp, clean, and sharp with embroidery? If so, it may be time to try a woven patch. Give your brand the look it deserves with a woven patch, where no detail or text is too small. Letters as small as 1-2 mm tall come out clear and readable.
Like all of our patches we apply a backing, such as a iron on backing and sew the embroidered border for a finished patch that is ready to be applied to a garment or sold in retail. Let our experienced team of designers and applicators hep you decide the best way to bring the luxurious rebellion of the woven sewing technique to your next creative project.
Pros:
- Crisp detail
- small lettering is readable
- a clean expensive look is achieved.
Cons:
- More expensive than embroidery & sublimation.
- Round shapes may not be perfect.
